Our Story

Originating out of Tom Moench’s garage, Orange Blossom Pilsner started as a homebrew recipe. After selling his successful craft beer distributorship and winning several awards for OBP, he decided to take his production to a larger scale in 2007.

With a plan to first build the brand through contract brewing and establish a customer base, later sales would justify building a physical brewery. After careful selection with strict quality assurance and quality control standards, OBP’s three core brands were produced by Thomas Creek Brewery in South Carolina. Experiencing limited capacity, OBP’s production was capped and unable to meet demand.

In 2014, OBP partnered with Brew Hub in Lakeland, Florida to expand production. Through this transition to the new facility, OBP has evolved into Orange Blossom Brewing Company.

Through Brew Hub, the business model changed from contract brewing to partner brewing. Partner brewing allowed the OBBC to not only brew the beer to the exact specifications predetermined by Tom, but also to package and distribute from Brew Hub and make the beer available for distribution in more markets
